Scroll for details.

Web Pick of the Week
For Kids Only: Earth Science Enterprise
http://kids.earth.nasa.gov/

Even though Earth Day was last week, this week's Web Pick is in the spirit of "Earth Day, Every Day." This site for kids explains how NASA uses information from its many scientific explorations to study the state of the planet, and how kids can use their skills—now and in the future careers—to get involved.

Explore the games and adventures on the site, such as "Echo the Bat: Adventures in Remote Sensing" and "It's a Breeze: How Air Pressure Effects You." In addition to the activities, there are some very elaborate mini-resources, complete with excellent computer animations of earth science phenomena and experiments. See the free Teacher's Guides (linked at the bottom of the home page) for more details about incorporating these topics into your classroom.
