Insect Lore
        This is an excellent resource for additional creatures to supplement the ones in the kits, as well as a rich source of detailed puppets, related storybooks, and informative guides, puzzles, critter- care supplies, and vibrant posters. Enjoy just browsing for ideas!

Life Cycle Books
        This publisher, Capstone Press, offers these books (designed to aid alignment to national standards) on mealworms, milkweed bugs, millipedes, painted lady butterflies, pillbugs, and silkworms.

Microbial Ecology Resources
        The Digital Learning Center for Microbial Ecology presents a listing of books, videos, software, recommended websites, and more that may be of interest to students and teachers of microbiology and microbial ecology. Some of these resources will be too advanced for your students, but you may find a few appropriate tools.
