PALS: Performance Assessment Links in Science
        Tremendously useful, PALS is an on-line, standards-based, continually updated resource bank of science performance assessment tasks indexed via the National Science Education Standards (NSES) and various other standards frameworks. You can select the standards with which you'd like to align, and receive a list of recommended tasks/activities designed to meet the standards, and vice versa.

Center for Science Education and Professional Development
        Created for science teachers and professional developers, this site seeks to further inquiry and continuous assessment. This information is designed to be helpful, and cheerfully introduces newcomers to what continuous assessment is, as well as providing resources and support for those who are already well versed.

ASSET Performance Assessment Framework
        Presents rubrics for assessing STC kits (Soils, Rocks and Minerals, Land and Water, Sound, Electric Circuits, Animal Studies, Ecosystems, and Magnets and Motors). These rubrics present useful models that you could consider as you create your own rubrics.

Pennsylvania Assessment Through Themes (PATT)
        Features the Guide to Assessment Literacy; the Science, Technology, Environment & Ecology Process (STEEP) Assessment Handbook, and the Portfolio Implementation Guide.
